What's a mesh head?
A mesh head ha ve a metal/aluminium hoop and the mesh can be made from polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, PVC or PTFE. Better, more expensive, electronic drums often have mesh heads.
You can also replace your normal heads of an acoustic drum kit by mesh heads and your acoustic drum kit becomes a practice kit. In combination with drum triggers your drum kit will become the best electronic kit. Link your triggers to an Edrum module and you have a great electronic drum kit that plays better and looks better.
